Terms & Conditions/ Cancellation Policy

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
We are a privately-owned business and want to provide you with facilities that ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Therefore the park rules have been designed for the safety and comfort of all our guests. By acceptance of accommodation, booking is acknowledgement and agreement to these terms and conditions.

  • The tariff is based on the number of guests for the specified time and duration. Any changes thereto will alter the tariff. 
  • All booked guests must be paid for on arrival. Failure to notify us of any changes prior or on your arrival date will see no alteration in the tariff (no alteration for accommodation booked with a third party online).
  • Any extra guests staying on your accommodation booking over a peak period must pay for the full minimum night stay for that peak period.
  • Prices quoted are current at the time of booking, inclusive of GST and firm upon full payment for the specified time and duration.
  • Only one promotional/ membership offer/ deal can be redeemed on any booking.
  • Promotional codes, vouchers or membership discounts must be redeemed at time of online and direct bookings. 
  • Due to the small size of our holiday park, only one car is permitted at each cabin or site. Any extra cars will have to be parked in our outside parking area.
  • Cabin keys will not be handed out to any other guest other than the booked guest on arrival unless prior arrangement has occurred.
  • Cabin/ Site check-in time is firm unless an SMS has been sent prior to this time allowing early check-in. 
  • Cabins are not serviced daily. A change of linen will occur for extended stays of 8 or more nights only. A change of line prior to this will incur a fee.
  • Each online booking website has its own cancellation/ refund policy that might also be relevant to the specified deal that is being offered. Please check this carefully. 
  • Please note, erections of tent/ swags or tarps are not permitted on any of our grassed/slab powered sites (AstroTurf sites only), you will be asked to remove these items from another powered site at any time by management.
  • Holiday Parks approved matting will only be allowed to be used on our grassed sites.
  • Water restrictions are now in force. Washing of vehicles requires approval from management prior to washing your vehicle. 
  • While we can accept requested cabins/sites, please note that sometimes this is out of our control and you may be moved to another cabin/site without notice (we endeavour to do our best informing you beforehand).
  • Whilst Murray River Holiday Park is a pet-friendly park, not all cabin accommodation is pet-friendly. Policies for pets can be found on our website, guests must adhere to them at all times. Murray River Holiday Park accepts no responsibility for any extra costs needed to place your dog into dog care if you have booked a non-pet-friendly cabin.
  • Given the small size of our holiday park, we allocate powered sites according to the size of your caravan. We take your word at the time of your booking the overall size (including drawbar and any toolboxes/ bikes/ slide outs on the rear/side) of your caravan. However, if you arrive and your caravan is larger than first stated, and we do not have the flexibility to accommodate your booking, this will leave you with no reservation here. In this case, no refunds will be given. 
  • Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all accommodation.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry into Murray River Holiday Park. A part refund will be issued under these circumstances.
  • Murray River Holiday Park has a zero-tolerance to offensive behaviour, excessive use of alcohol, unregistered guests staying overnight, acts of violence or smoking in cabin accommodation.
  • Murray River Holiday Park will not be liable for unforeseeable circumstances, including but not limited to floods, fire, pandemic/ epidemics and catastrophes. 
  • Murray River Holiday Park respects your privacy. If you do not wish to have your email address added to our database, please tick the box under the privacy section on your guest registration form on arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event of your booking being cancelled prior to your arrival the following conditions apply:

  • Cancellations must be emailed through to bookings@murrayriverholidaypark.com.au 
  • No refunds for late arrivals or early departures or in the event of bad weather
  • If you fail to arrive on your nominated date, your booking will be cancelled and NO refund given if no contact has been made with us prior
  • Management's discretion applies to all cancellations

PEAK/ SHOULDER BOOKINGS: 
- Any cancellations/ modifications made are subject to the first night's tariff not being refunded
- Any cancellations/ modifications made 30 days before arrival date, will see no refund given
- Any balance remaining after cancellation fee has been taken may be held in Client Account for 12 months 

OFF-PEAK BOOKINGS:
- Any cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee (all cabin types) and $15 cancellation fee (powered sites)
- Any cancellation made 7 days before arrival date will see no refund given
- Any balance remaining after cancellation fee has been taken may be held in the Client Account for 12 months

ONLINE BOOKINGS:
- Each online booking website has its own cancellation/ refund policy that might also be relevant to the specified deal that is being offered. Please check carefully. 

DEPOSIT RULES:
Off-peak and Shoulder bookings require a 1 nights tariff deposit at the time of placing a booking, with the full balance owing on arrival day
Peak bookings require a 2-night tariff deposit at the time of placing a booking, with the full balance owing on arrival day (Christmas and Easter full balances are due 4 weeks prior to arrival day) 
Online bookings will see full payment taken at the time of placing a booking 

COVID-19 RESPONSE:
At Murray River Holiday Park the safety of our employees and guests is the utmost priority. During this time, we ask that all guests coming to visit and stay in our holiday park apply a serious degree of responsibility and honesty to ensure we do our best in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus. 

  • We ask if you have symptoms of the Coronavirus or if you feel you have been exposed to the Coronavirus please contact Murray River Holiday Park ASAP to discuss your booking. 
  • Please rest assured, all of our team have completed the Infection Control Training in COVID-19 and we reflect all cleaning standards set out by Government. 

Please note: On Friday 4 September 2020 a single border region was established. All residents of the border region, including critical service workers and residents in remote communities, can apply for the new border region permit.
Please keep in mind we are fully open for business and our cancellation policy remains in place. 
We understand if you place a booking, you are following the restriction guidelines to be able to travel, we also assume you will have a current permit to enter NSW. 
Refunds will not be available to bookings that are made and are not able to cross the border to enter NSW. We highly encourage all guests to take out the Cancellation Insurance at the time of placing a booking. 

You will not be able to enter the Park without completion of the COVID declaration.
We are following the NSW Government CovidSAFE guidelines as follows:

  • Social Distancing measures of 1.5m 
  • Safe Hygiene Practices – Hand sanitising station at the entry point of the reception, BBQ area, Amenities & laundry facilities. Hand soap stations available in the amenities and camp kitchen.
  • COVIDSAFE App – Please ensure you have downloaded the COVIDSAFE App and have it running whilst at the park.
  • Contactless Pay – Where possible, please pay using contactless pay on our EFTPOS machine.
  • Murray River Holiday Park is a registered COVID SAFE business.
