T&C/ Cancellation/ Pet Policy

We are a privately-owned business and want to provide you with facilities that ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Therefore the park rules have been designed for the safety and comfort of all our guests. By acceptance of an accommodation booking is acknowledgement and agreement to these terms and conditions.

  • The tariff is based on the number and type of guests for the specified time and duration. Any changes thereto will alter the tariff. 
  • All booked guests must be paid for on arrival. Failure to notify us of any changes prior to your arrival date will see no alteration in the tariff.
  • Any extra guests staying on your accommodation booking over a peak period must pay for the full minimum night stay
  • Prices quoted are current at the time of booking, inclusive of GST and firm upon full payment for the specified time and duration.
  • Only one promotional/ membership offer/ deal can be redeemed on any booking.
  • Promotional codes, vouchers or membership discounts must be redeemed at time of online and direct bookings. 
  • Due to the small size of our holiday park, only one car is permitted at each cabin or site. Any extra cars will have to be parked in our outside parking area.
  • Cabin keys will not be handed out to any other guest other than the booked guest. 
  • Cabin/ Site check in time is firm unless an SMS has been sent prior to this time allowing early check-in. 
  • Cabins are not serviced daily. A change of linen will occur for extended stays of 8 or more nights only. A change of line prior to this will incur a fee.
  • Each online booking website has its own cancellation/ refund policy that might also be relevant to the specified deal that is being offered. Please check carefully. 
  • Please note, erections of tent/ swags or tarps are not available on all our powered sites (selected sites only), you may be asked to remove these items from a powered site at any time by management.
  • Water restrictions are now in force. Washing of vehicles requires approval from management prior to washing your vehicle. 
  • While we can accept requested cabins/sites, please note that sometimes this is out of our control and you may be moved to another cabin/site without notice.
  • Whilst Murray River Holiday Park is a pet-friendly park, not all cabin accommodation is pet-friendly. Policies for pets can be found on our website, guests must adhere to them at all times. Murray River Holiday Park accepts no responsibility for any extra costs needed to place your dog into dog care if you have booked a non-pet-friendly cabin.
  • Given the small size of our holiday park, we allocate powered sites according to the size of your caravan. We take your word at the time of your booking the overall size (including drawbar and any tool boxes on the rear) of your caravan. However, if you arrive and your caravan is larger than first stated, we may not have the flexibility to accommodate your booking, leaving you with no reservation here. In this case, no refunds will be given.
  • Murray River Holiday Park respects your privacy. if you do not wish to have your email address added to our database, please tick the box under the privacy section on your guest registration form on arrival
  • Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all accommodation.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry into Murray River Holiday Park. A full refund will be issued under these circumstances.

In the event of your booking being cancelled prior to your arrival the following conditions apply:

  • Cancellations must be emailed through to bookings@murrayriverholidaypark.com.au 
  • No refunds for late arrivals or early departures or in the event of bad weather
  • If you fail to arrive on your nominated date, your booking will be cancelled and NO refund given if no contact has been made with us prior
  • Management's discretion applies to all cancellations

- Any cancellations/ modifications made are subject to the first night's tariff not being refunded
- Any cancellations/ modifications made 30 days before arrival date, will see no refund given
- Any balance remaining after cancellation fee has been taken may be held in Client Account for 12 months 

- Any cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee (all cabin types) and $15 cancellation fee (powered sites)
- Any cancellation made 7 days before arrival date will see no refund given
- Any balance remaining after cancellation fee has been taken may be held in the Client Account for 12 months

- Each online booking website has its own cancellation/ refund policy that might also be relevant to the specified deal that is being offered. Please check carefully. 



  • All pets must be leashed, controlled at all times & remain tethered within your powered site boundaries
  • All pets cannot be left unattended at any time in the park, this means when you leave for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they must go with you and not left locked inside your caravan or cabin
  • Owners are responsible for their pet and any mess at all times (including digging of holes in our grass), please pick up after them
  • Owners take full responsibility for any personal injury caused by their dog whilst within the confines of the park and are responsible for any claims of compensation
  • Pets are not permitted in the pool area, BBQ area or non-pet-friendly cabin accommodation at any time, in or around on the verandas. Guests found with a pet inside any non-pet-friendly cabin accommodation will be evicted immediately
  • Washing of dog accessories/ clothing etc. is not permitted in the laundry washing machines

Pet-Friendly Cabins:
All policies apply above as well as the following: 

  • Pets inside our pet-friendly cabin are not permitted on the couch or bed (extra fees may apply if the washing of bedding is needed)
  • Pets cannot be tethered to the outside of your pet-friendly cabin at any time
  • Limited to one pet per pet-friendly cabin

Off Peak/ Shoulder Periods:
$20.00 per pet for the duration of your stay

$20.00 per pet per night 

If wishing to book a pet-friendly cabin, must call us directly by calling 1800 357 215. 
NB: MRHP will not take any responsibility for guests arriving with a pet if your booking has been made on an OTA in a non-pet-friendly room. Guest will be asked to place any pets in alternate care for the duration of your stay at guests own cost.
